A default key is baked into this file, so it works with no setup. It's stored only in this browser and sent only to api.twelvedata.com, straight from your browser with no backend in between. The free plan allows about 800 requests/day, paced to roughly 8/minute across every feature on this page at once (portfolio polling included), so screens run a bit slower than they would on a paid plan. Some endpoints may cost more than one “credit” per call on Twelve Data's side, so if you still see a credits-exhausted message, just wait a minute and try a smaller screen.
